Hot Oatmeal Dogs?

We brought Dad home from the hospital yesterday. It was good to have him there, to help dispell the creepy morbid thoughts that were lingering during my solo visit.
Joann's been a big help and she's a cool lady. I have a strong feeling she'll be around for a while, which is cool because she's good for Dad.
We're going grocery shopping now, cause damn there's nothing left to eat in this house except hot dogs and oatmeal.

Mmm, hot dogs and oatmeal sound good about now. Not together of course, but taken separately, quite tasty.
Sounds like you approve of Joann. It's nice that your dad has found someone that makes him happy. I wonder if, after all this time, you're gonna have a hard time letting someone other than you take care of him. :)
good to hear that your dad was well enough to come home and that you are making peace with Joann....
I was trying to think of something funny regarding hot dogs and oatmeal, but failed miserably so I will just send some good thoughts your way.
